What will the planning process be like?


At J Mychael Travel, we believe in forming strong and lasting relationships with our clients.

From the initial consultation to the "Welcome Home", we are present in every stage of the travel experience.
 

  • You will begin by selecting a day and time for your 20-minute complimentary consultation to discuss your travel vision.
    In this meeting we explore ideas, travel style, interests, and requirements for your itinerary.

  • A planning agreement will be emailed to you for your review and acceptance. Once this has been signed and received along with our previously discussed non-refundable professional planning fee, the design process of your itinerary begins.

  • Now we launch the creative process, where we begin to create an extraordinary journey for you. We offer you options, and fine-tune them to the final itinerary you envision, customized exclusively for you.

  • Your itinerary is confirmed when we have collected all deposits necessary to secure your reservations. The final payment is processed between 30-120 days prior to departure, which varies by itinerary created. Your final travel documents are prepared and delivered to you prior to departure.

  • It’s now time to enjoy and experience an incredible journey designed specifically for you. Remember, we are in every stage of the travel experience, so we are available when you’re traveling. If you need anything, please do not hesitate to contact us. As well, we are in contact with our supplier relationships on the ground or at sea wherever you are traveling to ensure that all is executed seamlessly on your behalf.

  • Upon your return, we speak again either in-person, by phone, or online to review the highlights of your travels. We want to know what you loved, get your feedback, and can even explore where you want to go next.
What is your professional planning fee?


At J Mychael Travel, we value forming relationships with our clients, and we are not just a booking agent, but an experienced travel professional. We take pride in creating experiences suited uniquely for each client. This process takes time and we have taken years to form valuable supplier rapport and trusted resources worldwide. 


As we give the attention that our clients deserve, we do charge a non-refundable professional planning fee to acknowledge our efforts to provide exquisite experiences in travel. The fee varies from $100 - $250 per person based on the complexity of the arrangements. The exact amount of this fee will be discussed and collected prior to designing your personalized itinerary.

What is your cancellation policy?


Cancellation policies vary with each supplier which is providing a part in your itinerary that J Mychael Travel secures on your behalf. In addition to the supplier cancellation fee, J Mychael Travel has a $100 per person cancellation fee.

Please be advised, J Mychael Travel REQUIRES purchasing or showing proof of Travel Insurance at the time of your deposit in the event of any unforeseen circumstance that may occur not only during your vacation, but also in the days leading up to your departure.
